How does it work ?
Solution Architecture
The only items that are required in addition to the PIApoint.mso access control solution are individual access points. You can install any type of commercial access point (BelAir, Mediacell, Cisco, Nomadix, Colubris, ValuePoint) in the location you want to provide wireless broadband access. We highly recommend a professional site survey to analyze the environment and ensure a good and strong signal for your customers. This is one of most underestimated parts in a wireless deployment and executed well will ensure your customers with a great experience as well as reduce many calls for help to your call center.
Once the wireless APs are deployed, just connect it via cable modem to your cable plant, provision the CM within PIApoint.mso and you are ready to go.
